Independent, practical and commercially grounded.
Indoor Crop Consulting helps project owners make better decisions before expensive assumptions are embedded—and helps operators solve the problems that appear after the facility is running.

Founder & President
Shawn brings nearly a decade of hands-on commercial indoor-farm operating experience across crop production, facility systems, equipment strategy, workflow and commercial performance.
That experience includes more than designing systems and writing plans. It includes living through crop losses, environmental instability, equipment limitations, control problems, labour bottlenecks, startup failures and the difficult recoveries that reveal how indoor farms actually behave.
ICC gives clients access to lessons earned the expensive way. The objective is to prevent avoidable problems during development, recognize familiar failure patterns quickly and provide practical support when an operating farm is not performing as intended.
- Nearly a decade operating commercial indoor farms
- Commercial leafy-greens, herbs and microgreens experience
- Hands-on crop, environmental and production troubleshooting
- Facility, equipment and workflow problem solving
- Production, yield, throughput and operating-model review
- Vendor-neutral requirements and proposal assessment
Advice scaled to the decision.
Engagements can begin with a focused review, a defined project phase or ongoing advisory support.
Deliverables may include review notes, project questions, spreadsheets, assumptions registers, technical memoranda, equipment scopes, vendor comparisons, meeting support and readiness plans. Work is structured around the information needed to make the next decision—not around producing unnecessary documentation.
Operators should not have to learn every lesson through crop loss, downtime and expensive rework. Experienced pattern recognition can shorten the path from symptom to root cause.
